A Christmas mini-session is a fantastic way to get a collection of gorgeous Christmas-themed portraits of your little ones - which in turn, make perfect gifts and Christmas cards for friends and family.

My Christmas mini sessions are extremely popular so they tend to sell out fast - so we recommend booking early to secure your Christmas portraits session.

Please make sure any children being photographed are well-rested and dressed in a suitably warm/festive outfit that will work well with the colours you can see on this page.

Taking pictures with a camera or mobile phone camera is strictly prohibited.

⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️

As this is a mini session and in high demand, you can imagine that the schedule is tight and runs back to back. To assist us to run on time, please ensure you arrive 5 mins early, and be ready to be photographed. If you will be late more than 10 minutes you may miss your slot and won't be able to reschedule. We ask that you wait in your car until your allocated time.

If you are late, unfortunately you will miss your session. Note that these sessions cannot be re-booked, refunded, or cancelled due to the sessions running back to back. Being ready and on time allows for your family and others the opportunity to all have their festival photos taken with ample time.

What to wear

For this scene, I recommend a soft and elegant colour palette:

For the most beautiful family photographs, try to coordinate rather than match everyone exactly.

For example:

Mum: cream, champagne or beige dress/knitwear
Dad: beige, brown, cream or a deep green jumper/shirt
Girls: ivory, cream, burgundy or deep green dresses
Boys: cream/white shirt with beige or brown trousers, or a deep green/burgundy jumper

Soft knits, dresses, corduroy, velvet and textured fabrics photograph beautifully and add a lovely cosy Christmas feel.

Please avoid neon/very bright colours, large logos, character prints and very busy patterns, as these can distract from the family and the beautiful Christmas setting.

This set-up is all about capturing the fun, cosy and playful side of Christmas.

It is perfect for families who want something relaxed and natural, with photographs full of cuddles, laughter and those little moments that children will remember.

Whether your little ones are excited about Christmas, snuggling with their siblings or simply enjoying being together, this scene is designed to capture those genuine Christmas memories.

What to wear

For this scene, cosy Christmas pyjamas are absolutely perfect for children — especially soft, simple designs in:

For parents, you can either join the children in coordinating pyjamas or choose simple cosy clothing in neutral colours.
